Private matters.

The folder is a little theatrical. How your information is handled should be straightforward.

Who is responsible

This website presents the work and services of Aviva, operated by Michael Hruby. In this policy, “Aviva,” “I,” and “me” refer to Michael. It covers information handled through this website and enquiries sent to me. Client projects may have their own agreements and privacy notices.

Information you choose to share

If you email me, I receive your email address, your message, and any name, business details, or attachments you include. I use that information to reply, discuss your enquiry, and, if we decide to work together, arrange and provide the agreed services.

Please share only what is needed for the conversation. Avoid sending sensitive personal information in an initial enquiry.

When you press “Send note,” your name, contact details, and message are sent to Netlify Forms, which processes and stores the enquiry for Aviva and filters spam. I use these details to respond to your request. You can also use the email link below to reach me.

Information involved in browsing

Loading a website sends technical information to the servers delivering it, including your IP address, the requested file or page, the time of the request, and browser or device information. Those services may keep operational logs to deliver content, troubleshoot problems, and protect against misuse.

Most of this site’s images, fonts, and project videos are served with the website. Some video animations can load through Mux, a video delivery service. When your browser requests those videos, Mux and its delivery infrastructure receive the technical information needed to serve them. See Mux’s privacy information for information about that provider.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

This version of the website does not run visitor analytics, advertising pixels, or session recording. The site’s own code does not set tracking cookies or store a visitor profile in your browser. I do not use information from this website for targeted advertising or sell it to data brokers.

Your browser may cache files or offer to autofill information. Those are browser features, rather than records sent to Aviva. Hosting and video services may process technical information as described above.

Who may handle information

Services that deliver the website, process contact forms, stream video, or handle email may process the information needed to perform those tasks. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or when reasonably necessary to respond to misuse or protect legal rights. A request to be contacted does not add you to a mailing list.

Service providers may process information in countries other than yours. External websites linked from this site have their own privacy practices; this policy does not govern them.

Keeping and protecting information

I keep correspondence for as long as it is needed to handle the enquiry, maintain a relevant business relationship, or meet legal and recordkeeping obligations. The appropriate period depends on the conversation and any work that follows. Technical logs held by service providers follow their own retention arrangements.

No website or email service can guarantee absolute security. If you believe information you sent to Aviva has been exposed or used incorrectly, please contact me.

Your choices and requests

You can browse without emailing me or entering details in the contact form. You can also use your browser’s controls to manage cached files, cookies, and connections to third-party services; blocking video services may prevent some animations from playing.

You may ask what information I hold about you, request a correction or deletion, or raise a concern about its use. I may need to verify your identity before acting. Some records may need to be retained for legal reasons. Your rights and the response required depend on the laws that apply where you live.

Children’s information

This website is intended for people exploring business services, rather than children. I do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent me personal information, please contact me so I can address it.

Changes to this policy

I will update this page when the site’s information practices change, including when message delivery or analytics are introduced. The date above shows when this policy was last revised.
